“Upon establishing a rustling and airy environmental backdrop, “Polyculture” is a track that immediately begins to bud and blossom into a glowing, hypnagogic array of sparkling arpeggiation and lush synthetic textures. Neither fully consonant nor dissonant, “Polyculture” warmly weaves between moments of question and answer, between ebb and flow, crystallizing moments of twinkly hopefulness and firm contemplation.

“Reflection” is an instant transportation to a dark and wooded headspace. Amid a choir of bird calls and the sounds of a rushing stream, the track spins a web of echoing synths that bounce around the sonic field like light broken into a million pieces through the tree cover at sunrise. As the track proceeds to grow and wake, sweeps of rich chords and bright keyboard voicings cast new shadows on the dense roots beneath them, punctuating moments of rest with invigorating moments of vivid glow.

Through shaking static wing-like flits, lilting keyboard glides, and periodic moments of deep, rhythmic pulse, Hyaline sculpts a sonic view on “Dyad” that is both organic and unknown, both familiar and extraterrestrial, both beautiful and mesmerizing throughout." - Evan Grice, Lovetechnique

These compositions were created using the ASM Hydrasynth, Arturia's V collection, more reverb plugins than any one person should use, field recordings, and samples from Splice.
